Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
