Automobiles in German City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Local Law Enforcement
Officers reported they were contacted by a individual who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored substance

Approximately fifty automobiles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, occasionally with swastikas, they announced in a release.

Police say they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a banned symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then located numerous other smeared automobiles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials state initial examinations indicate the liquid was most likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no lead as to its origin; authorities are currently not aware of any injuries in connection with the incident," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were trying "to resolve the incident" and have appealed to the public for tips.

An important official commented the vandalism made him speechless and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This act strikes at the center of Hanau and revives the trauma of the extremist terrorist attack half a decade ago," he stated on a platform, mentioning the death of nine individuals by a shooter focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in 2020.
